Beast-a-boo!

Beastly takes most of her walks in a big graveyard round the corner. She loves running round the stones and Sophie squeals with delight when she keeps popping out unexpectedly. Here she is in front of the saddest gravestone.

In the garden

This weekend we've walked around in the rain a lot and been forced to buy Sophie a mac and visit a Funky Fun House. These pics were taken only a week ago when it was much hotter. We've had to install a gate to stop Lottie getting into squirrel-related mischief at the lower end of the garden. This has become her favourite place to hang out as you can see in the background of these pics.

Changes

I've been back in NL for just one working week and Sophie has changed quite a lot. She will now say "Yes" if you ask her if she wants something (assuming she actually wants it). I guess it counts as her first conversation. She can stand up unsupported for a few seconds. Oh, and she has learnt to drive.

Beer!

Bet you thought this blog was dead. Well, it's taken a couple of weeks to get connected in Cambridge but now the blog entries should flow. Talking of flowing, today we went to the Cambridge Beer Festival.

British Swimming

On Sunday we go back to the UK. Jo, Sophie and Lottie will stay in the house in Cambridge until the end of the Summer. They'll take the camera so I hope to see plenty of blog entries here because I'll only see them at weekends. There's plenty of fun stuff lined up for the Summer months. The thing we're most looking forward to is taking Sophie for a good bit of British Swimming (... none of your fancy foreign stuff).

Ray of Sunshine

For some time Sophie has been in great form; always cheerful despite the world and Mother Nature doing their utmost to make her miserable (teeth, MMR vaccines ....). We're off to the UK next week and plan to visit Great Auntie Gertie who bought her this pushchair, which she loves. However, for some reason this photo opportunity did not go to plan.

Summer plans

I'm now back home after a week long trip to Oman. Next weekend we all go to Cambridge. Jo, Sophie and Beasterson will stay in the house in Cambridge for the summer and I'll commute back from NL at weekends.
