Everything packed...

We're off to Norway. The packers arrive at 7.30am tomorrow. The next time we switch this computer on we'll be ensconsed in our house in Norway. Beastly is not keen on packing.

We're out of here

Only a week left in NL before the move to Norway. We're really busy sorting out everything so don't expect too much activity here until we arrive in Norway. The car is sold and we're eating some interesting meals made from the remaining cupboard and freezer contents. The Beast has been persuaded to go into her in-flight accommodation by slapping liver onto the interior. I've been in Holland for nearly 6 years and Jo for 4. For Sophie it's her home. Although we've enjoyed it here it's definitely time to move on.

In Norfolk we got to meet Harry, Sophie's new cousin born just a few days before. Welcome Harry.

Holiday Part 3

Then off to Cambridge for a weekend where we stayed with Dan, Jane and Mike. Managed to fit in a swimming session (followed by a cheeky pint) and a visit to the zoo.

Holiday Part 2

Dropping in to see Great Great Auntie Gertie in Birmingham on the way over to Manchester.

Sophie and Emily submitting to a very posed photo during a flying visit to Wilmslow. Part 2 of the holiday was spent in Manchester but, unfortunately, the camera did not make an appearance. Apart from visiting Jo's family the main activities were shopping and avoiding the rain (... although Jo took me for a nice birthday dinner in Manchester).

We had a great time at Centerparcs again. Sophie had her first haircut. We haven't told Beastly about the little visitor yet.

We're not here

We've been enjoying the British rain for the last 2 weeks. We'll be back next week with lots of updates. In the meantime, here's Sophie and her cousin Ruby having fun on a small slide.
