Good girl gets scooter

Every child in Norway owns one of these and Sophie has been staring wistfully at the kids in the neighbourhood riding theirs for some time now. The physiotherapist told us she need to exercise her hip in certain ways so this weekend she was the lucky recipient of a skipping rope, a swing, an exercise ball and, best of all, a disco scooter (with real flashing lights).

How to make pizza

3. Knead dough, crack eggs.

Just back from a week in sunny(-ish) Wales. Stayed near a place called Llanlidloes. If you look it up in Google, you'll see it's not exactly close to Heathrow. Sophie enjoyed meeting up with her getting-older-friend Dan and had a great time playing with all the other kids.

Wales

Here is Sophie fixing her bike. She must get that from her Grandad. Thanks to Nana for the Fifi sleepover suit. We're off for an Easter break in Wales tomorrow so no activity here for a few days.

Ballerina

Sophie had her first sleepover at Saskia's house on Saturday night. She had a great time playing with Saskia (and her toys). Her enjoyment was enhanced by the fact that she had on her new leotard and ballet shoes (... thanks for the Easter money Grandma and Grandad!). Saskia also has ballerina stuff so the theme of the visit was pretty obvious. This morning she had a session with the physiotherapist who has given us lots of exercises to get the full movement back in her hip.
