Quagmire news

The weather has been terrible for the last 8 days and the garden project has turned into a quagmire. Still, Sophie has been doing lots of creative stuff. Here she is doing a Play Doh demo and showing her painting from the "Messy Play" session at playgroup.

We are having a new lawn and shed put into our garden in Cambridge. The company we have chosen seem to be doing a fantastic job. Here are some before and during pics. Can’t wait to post the after ones. It will be a lovely place for Sophie to practice her walking, which s coming along really well.

Summer's here

Summer has finally arrived and I've come back from NL a day early for a long weekend. We went to a Toy Library first thing and we now have a large pink fairy tent erected in the garden room. I then took Sophie to a playgroup (while Jo dealt with the electrician) and realised that communal singing of kids songs is not my forte (... and there were actions!).
