International Day

International day came around again last week.  The children are asked to dress in national costume so Sophie got out her novelty Union Flag hat and Matthew put on his bowler hat.

Christmas Day

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went out before bedtime to see if we could see Santa in the sky.   Unfortunately it was rather cloudy so we did not get a great view.  Nevertheless, a gap emerged and we finally saw him moving across the night sky.  Now Sophie has proof of his existence which she can relay to her sceptical friends.  Apparently the International Space Station was also due to pass over at about the same time!
Offerings for Santa and Rudolph.

Tenerife

Santa II

When Sophie told Santa that she wanted an X-Box I told him that he needs to discuss it with me before making any final decisions.

Matthew is a bit more confident with Santa than he was two years ago http://joblair.blogspot.nl/2012/12/getting-used-to-santa.html.  Maybe because he managed to co-ordinate his trousers with Santa's couch blanket.

Linnaeushof

3 weeks ago we went to Linnaeushof, a large outdoor play park.  I reckon Sophie and Matthew were the last two kids of 2014 to enjoy the splash park.
