Lottie is making good progress. Her nerves are firing up and she's getting the use back in her stiff legs. She's still pretty miserable and frustrated at not being able to walk properly (see pic). The one outstanding issue is her damaged pelvis, particularly the ball-and-socket joint of her right back leg. The plan is to wait until her nerves are better and she's ready for surgery and then to do something called a femoral head excision on her broken leg joint. Basically, they take the ball off the femur and create a gliding joint, which will serve her well (although she always have a bit of a swagger).

Lottie - update
