I was walking past the computer this morning and these pics flashed up on the screensaver. Jo must have taken them yesterday. I'll put them on because
I think they are quite cute. Sophie can now roll from front to back vice versa (although I'm the only person who has witnessed the latter). This means she is fully locomotive so can go anywhere (follow link to her current spiritual influence ... http://www.despardes.com/pakistan/newsbriefs/sep04/091704.html). She has also tried a bit of solid food (carrot, courgette and sweet potato ... quite healthy don't you think). The brown nose and mouth of the teddy bear is a repair job because Lottie got too friendly with an earlier version.

Who needs air conditioning ....

...... when you've got a wet flannel?

Trying something different

Here's Sophie trying a bit of carrot puree for the first time. She might look disgusted but she swallowed it and was all smiles afterwards.

Hot stuff

These hot days can be a bit of a struggle. Nobody sleeps very well and it's difficult to go out and do stuff. It seems a bit cooler this morning and, so far, everyone is still asleep. Sophie can now roll over .... well I guess it's a milestone of sorts. Her new favourite toy is a damp cloth (pictured) . She now weighs nearly 7 kg. Soon she'll no longer be the smallest thing in the house ... sorry Beastly but it's back to the bottom rung for you.
